On a cool September evening, deep in the heart of Manhattan, some 45 miles from the place that brought them together, Julie (McGrath) McTernan and Barb Fiorillo discussed life. Julie had just decided to become a full-time Mom and was looking for a creative outlet. Barb needed a diversion from her all-consuming job. They both had a common bond in their insatiable love for Point Lookout. Let's build a website for the town! With that MyPointLookout.com was born. We had no idea what that meant, so we set out to figure it out. We spoke to merchants in town, members of the historic society, and our friends. We consulted with a great graphic artist to capture the special feeling of Point Lookout beach.

What we found was that many people feel the same way we do.  It doesn't matter if you've spent a day or a lifetime in this unique little town, there's a story to be told.

MyPointLookout.com will tell your story, share the stories of other's, connect you to old friends, as well as update you on the latest happenings around town.

We're not entirely sure what this will turn into, we only hope that we continue to have fun doing it.  We also hope you get involved. It's your stories, photo's and memories that people want to hear about.  Please feel free to contribute ideas, suggestions, and comments.

Thanks for visiting!
