With
the slogan "Kick back and relax, enjoy spectacular sunsets,
and mingle with the "Best of Pt. Lookout," the Doheny family welcomes you back to their newly renovated family
friendly oasis by the bay.
 We found our
first visit of the season to the Buoy Bar even more enjoyable than
last summer. At first glance the renovation of the bar &
deck may make you think that it's lost that homey feeling, but
fear not, the new bar is much more accessible and the table area
while slightly expanded keeps that warm & cozy feel. New
comfy chairs & umbrellas add to the charm as well. As
thirty-something's with kids we were happy to have a place where
we could have a drink, grab a bite and feel comfortable about
bringing the kids along.
The service is quick, the people are friendly and
you can't go wrong with burgers, chicken & dogs. We highly recommend
Sunday night's when the live music of Greg Sweeney can be
heard and local characters abound. For those looking for a
little more than dinner with the kids, the bar scene is happening
with a 2 for 1 happy hour from 2:00 pm - 5:00 PM and the summer
wouldn't be complete without the Men's Speedo Spectagala Contest
coming in July.
Look
for their Thursday night Parties with prize
giveaways, a fabulous 4th watching the fireworks
